Almost two million orphans in Zimbabwe are stuck in a devastating cycle of poverty where they have no access to basic education or food. Aid alone can solve the problems of the orphan-child poverty; ECAF is here to change that.

ECAF was incorporated in 2015, with seed capital from its Chairman Lucy Tembo. Her desire was to transform Zimbabwean orphans’ lives by providing them education and basic needs and build a life of dignity. ECAF believes in creating lasting solutions to poverty related problems facing Zimbabwean orphans today. All of us had some form of education to land us where we are in our lives, Charities like ours are driving the message that without giving deprived African children suitable education, we are not really empowering them to take charge of their future. We believe in educating and providing training and development programs for children to work towards self-sufficiency and not rely on continuous aid as they grow.
